If you’re a fan of Disney Villains, this game is for you. Each player tries to accomplish a specially designed win condition for their Disney Villain while opponents try to stop them by “attacking” them with Disney Heroes from their storyline.

This asymmetric game is built for two players or four players in teams of two. It’s a bit like chess with superpowers. Each monster faction has unique miniatures and special abilities that align with the theme of monster.

I’m not a big fan of deduction-style board games because I’m not great at hiding my intentions. Even though Veiled Fate is one of these games, it handles deception in such a unique way that it’s fun and unpredictable every time we play.

Handcrafted by the folks at PostCurious, this narrative puzzle game has beautiful artwork. I picked up the Master Collector edition on Kickstarter back in 2021. We haven’t gotten to play through it yet, but I’m really looking forward to it.

I picked this one up mostly because of the 90 colorful dice, but we love it each time we play it. There are quite a few things to keep track of, but it’s exciting when it all comes together in the final rounds. Highly recommend this one.
